STATE v. S.R. | Jury Trial

Result: NOT GUILTY

Our client was arrested by state police after local residents reported bad driving. Troopers found a rolled-over pickup truck at the scene. Client was found in weeds an hour later and was arrested. Cient refused field sobriety tests and breath test. Client was arrested and charged with DUI, Reckless Driving and Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver ("hit and run").

Charge of "hit and run" was dismissed by the court at a hearing on defense motion to suppress. At trial, the jury found our client NOT GUILTY on the charge of driving while under the influence of alcohol. The judge concluded there had been reckless driving but imposed only minimum fines. Our client paid a small fine for the violation of refusing a breath test.


STATE v. E.R. | Jury Trial

Result: NOT GUILTY

Our client was arrested by Ashland police after refusing field sobriety and breath tests. At trial, the jury found our client NOT GUILTY on the charge of driving while under the influence of alcohol and the judge entered a judgment of acquittal on the charge of Reckless Driving. Our client paid $650 for the violation of refusing a breath test.

Result: NOT GUILTY

Following a two-day trial, the jury found our client NOT GUILTY on the charge of driving while under the influence of a prescription medication.


State v. C.W. | Jury Trial

Result: NOT GUILTY

At trial, the jury found our client NOT GUILTY of driving under the influence of an intoxicant.


STATE v. E.B. | Jury Trial

Result: HUNG JURY

Following a two-day trial, the jury was unable to reach a verdict of the charge of driving while under the influence of morphine and methadone. Client was found NOT GUILTY on the charge of reckless driving.

Following a two-day trial, the jury returns a verdict of NOT GUILTY on the charge of driving while under the influence of a prescription narcotic.

DUII charge was DISMISSED after a successful hearing on motion to suppress.

Result: CASE DISMISSED

After a hearing on a motion by the defense to suppress evidence, the case was DISMISSED.


STATE v. G.S. | Jury Trial

Result: NOT GUILTY

Client found NOT GUILTY of DUII. Client was accused by Oregon State Police and charged by the prosecutor with DUII – Controlled Substance. The state offered diversion, but the client refused to take a deal. The case went to trial before a jury and the client was ACQUITTED.


STATE v. N.B. | Jury Trial

Result: NOT GUILTY

Client was charged with felony DUII and two counts of recklessly endangering another person. Following trial, client is found NOT GUILTY on all counts.


STATE v. A.S. | Jury Trial

Result: NOT GUILTY

Client found NOT GUILTY on charges of DUII, Reckless Driving and Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver. Client was acquitted by the jury on all counts.


STATE v. D.W. | Pretrial Hearing

Result: DISMISSED

On charges including Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, all charges were DISMISSED by the state.


STATE v. M.B. | Pretrial Hearing

Result: DISMISSED

After prevailing at an implied consent license suspension hearing where DMV case was dismissed, the DUII case was DISMISSED by the Josephine County Circuit Court.


STATE v. A.M. | Jury Trial

Result: NOT GUILTY

Following a jury trial on charge of DUII, client was ACQUITTED.


STATE v. J.M.  | Dismissal on Day of Trial

Result: CASE DISMISSED

Charge of DUII was DISMISSED by the state.


State v. L.F. | Jury Trial

Result: NOT GUILTY

Trial by jury. Client was found NOT GUILTY.


State v. B.L. | Jury Trial

Result: HUNG JURY

The jury was UNABLE TO REACH A VERDICT on the charge of driving under the influence of an intoxicant.


STATE v. T.T. | Jury Trial

Result: NOT GUILTY

Client was charged with the crime of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Not guilty plea was entered and the case went to trial for two days before a jury. Defense requested special instruction allowing the jury to find that the defendant had only attempted to drive.

Client found guilty only of Attempted DUII (a lesser offense). Defendant kept his driver's license and was not sentenced to jail time. He was fined $500 for conviction on the lesser offense.


STATE v. B.F. | Jury Trial

Result: NOT GUILTY

Client was stopped by police while driving in Ashland. Police administered field sobriety tests and alleged that client had failed. Police arrested client and took breath sample, which registered above .08 BAC.

On plea of NOT GUILTY, the case was decided at trial by a jury. The jury returned a verdict of NOT GUILTY.
